Profile
After practising as a medical officer for a while, Esther’s career in public health started in 2002 as a public health specialist working with the Ghana Armed Forces as lead for the disease control and health development programmes for personnel during the United Nations missions. She has since worked in varied roles in England across a range of settings including Local Government, Cancer Alliance and NHS (primary and secondary care) and led on a vast variety of portfolios. She is an education supervisor for public health trainees and assessor of the North East of England public health practitioner scheme.
Esther is a change agent and passionate about reducing health inequalities. She currently leads development and implementation of the population health and reducing health inequalities programme for the Trust as part of the NHS Healthcare inequalities responsibilities.
